Ben is a New York City-based creator. Originally from Long Island, Ben grew up traveling into Manhattan regularly to see Broadway shows. Ben spent his childhood summers at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, graduated from Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan, and then went on to pursue his BFA in Musical Theatre at Syracuse University's prestigious School of Drama.
Ben now works as a producer in New York City out of the Hal Prince office. With Hal, he’s worked on the 2017 production of CANDIDE at New York City Opera as well as PRINCE OF BROADWAY at Manhattan Theatre Club. Ben also worked with Hal on writing his memoir, ‘Sense of Occasion’, which was released in September of 2017.
Ben is also the founder and executive producer of RANGE a cappella. With RANGE, Ben has arranged and produced music videos for Nickelodeon, Sesame Street, Playbill, Billboard, and the E! Network’s 2015 Oscars Live from the Red Carpet. RANGE has over 60k subscribers on YouTube and their music videos have been viewed over 30 million times. Ben produced RANGE’s first studio album, RANGE volume one, which is available on iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon.
In 2017, Ben started his own production company with his longtime collaborator and best friend Sammy Lopez: Holtzman-Lopez Productions (HLP). On Broadway, they produced BE MORE CHILL. Current projects in development include GUN & POWDER, HOW TO DANCE IN OHIO, and BRADICAL.
Ben is the recipient of the 2019 T. Fellowship for Creative Producing in association with Columbia University School of the Arts and serves on the advisory board for Jennifer Jancuska + The BringAbout.

Ben is the founder and executive producer of RANGE. RANGE is a New York City vocal group made up of musical artists and creative minds. They are best known for their viral YouTube hit, HAMILTON [in 7 minutes]. Founded in 2014, RANGE has performed on E! Live from the Red Carpet and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. They’ve collaborated with Nickelodeon on six music videos, as well as with Billboard, Sesame Street, and Playbill. RANGE performed their “Evolution of Kelly Clarkson” with Kelly Clarkson herself at Radio City Music Hall during her Piece by Piece tour. Most recently, RANGE had a sold-out engagement at SubCulture. RANGE's debut album, Range Vol. 1, is available on iTunes and Spotify.
